IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

People who desire to study or work in countries where English is the primary language must take the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The IELTS score is a requirement for higher education in almost all countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. It is a test of English language skills. The highest possible band score is 9, and most universities accept a score of 6.0 for undergraduate admission and a score of 6.0–7.0 for graduate admission. The IELTS comes in two different forms.

Academic Module

If you want to enrol in a degree program or professional training, the IELTS Academic module test determines whether your English language skills are sufficient. The Academic Module is required for students who want to enrol in a university or higher education facility.

General Training Module

The General Training module is designed for students looking to enrol in short courses, vocational training programs, secondary school, or immigration.

Test pattern

Part 1: Listening (4 sections; 30 minutes)

Part 2: Reading (3 passages; 60 minutes)

Part 3: Writing (2 tasks; 60 minutes)

Part 4: Speaking (Interview; 10-15 minutes)

IELTS Registration Fees:

 IELTS on Paper: 22,500 BDT

• IELTS on Computer: 22,500 BDT.
• IELTS UKVI: Tk. 24,850 BDT.
